Chamber meets with Commission to discuss Mexican trade… The Tucson Chamber met with leadership of the Arizona-Mexico Commission late last month to discuss Governor Napolitano’s recent trade mission to Mexico. Marco Lopez, a senior advisor to the Governor, sat down with the State Government Committee and had an informative give-and-take session regarding the Canamex transportation corridor and improvements on the commercial Mariposa port of entry in Nogales, Arizona. In February, Governor Napolitano met with Mexican policy makers in Sonora and new Mexican President Felipe Calderon. The Commission said it would welcome any help the Tucson business community could offer to increase economic development between Arizona and Mexico.
