The Tucson Unified School District is applying for a grant from Science Foundation Arizona to develop and deliver a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) program in Tucson. Pima County JTED has offered to fund internship opportunities with a projected value of $88,000.00. The Chamber has written a letter of support to be submitted with the TUSD Grant submission and will work with TUSD to get the business community involved.
