The Pima County Board of Supervisors approved the re-establishment of the Pima County Sports and Tourism Authority. This reformed entity will act as an interim organization to retain and promote spring training baseball in the region until an independent authority can be formed through legislation at the state level. This is a significant show of support for the efforts the Chamber has put forth already.
