The Business Development Division provides information and assistance to potential and existing business that are considering relocating, expanding, or opening a venture in the Tucson area. Additionally, the division provides detailed market information, cost of living data, real estate information, and international trade assistance, as well as research and consultation to people interested in opening a business.
Strategic Objective: Continue to assist businesses in growth and expansion, while aiding startups striving to become viable in the Tucson economy. Anticipate and aggressively address issues in a timely fashion, encouraging companies succeed in our community. Be a proactive partner in the recruitment and development of retail/service businesses necessary to reenergize and grow the region.
