Vice President: Paula Stuht
Communications is the media relations, membership-relations and publicity arm of the Chamber. The communications department is responsible to "getting the word out" to the membership and the media/public about the activities and business advocacy of the Chamber. This includes press releases, media commercials (TV/radio/internet), the monthly Chamber News newsletter, this Web site and the annual membership directory, among other collateral.
Strategic objective: Serve as the clearinghouse for all Chamber-related information for dissemination to various stakeholders. Utilize the electronic media to expand accessibility and visibility of the Chamber’s mission and goals. Increase the activity and knowledge of the membership through use of the World Wide Web.
The website, www.tucsonchamber.org, is an easy to use, informative site that provides the latest information, event notifications, and political insights as well as an up-to-the-minute membership directory.
The Chamber News newsletter is an e-mail electronic newsletter that is distributed monthly to Chamber members and their employees. The newsletter covers pertinent activities and events of the Chamber, provides key business-related stories from around the state and regular features about the membership - from new members to anniversaries to Member of the Month and articles by our members, providing expertise and advice about a litany of subjects. There are opportunities for members to write articles and/or advertise in the newsletter.
Happenings is the mailede version of the newsletter. With abreviated stories and inserts, this document is designed to drive the reader to the on-line version (The Chamber News) in order to get the "whole story".
If you do not currently receive Chamber News in your e-mail but would like to receive it, please click here and add your e-mail address to our database. Our list is growing all the time!
