August 7th was the fifth Good Morning Tucson since the Chamber premiered its return. Jim Livengood, Director of the U of A athletics program, was the main speaker with David Fitzsimmons making his fifth appearance as Master of Ceremonies Extraordinaire.
The Tucson Country Club once again provided a gorgeous venue and scrumptious food for attendees. The exhibitor tables were manned by members distributing great informational literature as well as promotional goodies. The members of the Good Morning Tucson committee and the Los Compadres were out in force, providing their expertise as table hosts, helping attendees connect and network.
And speaking of the Good Morning Tucson committee, their efforts to make this the most informative, entertaining, and just plain fun event in the metro area proved successful once again.
If you have a desire to meet and greet in a truly magnificent venue, dine on delicious breakfast fare, hear from great speakers, and be entertained by one of the community’s funniest funny-men, then mark your calendars for the next Good Morning Tucson. The September 4th breakfast speaker will be Cynthia Hernandez with Transportation Security Administration & Homeland Security talking about “Nine-Eleven Plus Eight”. Scheduled for the first Friday of each month (can vary depending on proximity to holidays) with networking and breakfast from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. and the program from 7:30 to 8:30a.m., it always promises to be the best way to start your morning.
