Tucson 12 wins 7 Rocky Mountain EMMYs
Tucson 12, the televison station of the City of Tucson, recently won seven Rocky Mountain EMMY Awards for its overall quality and variety of programming. it also won 12 awards from the National Association of Telecommi8nications Officers and Advisors (NATOA), including four first-place accolades.

Three honored for disabed advocacy
Recently, the Arizona Center for Disability Law held its annual Phoenix Leadership Awards dinner, celebrating those who advocated for the disalbed in the past year.
Arizona secretary of state Jan Brewer was honored for her work in voting rights for the disabled; Phil Pangrazio of Arizona Bridge to Independent Living was recognized for his work in developing an advocacy campus in Phoenix; and the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services and Education was honored for providing access to legal services for the poor and disabled.
3 from Clifton Gunderson among "Top 100" accountant listing
Carl George, Kris McMasters and Ed Dupke of Cliton Gunderson were named in the "Top 100 People of 2008" listing in Accounting Today magazine, recognizing the best in the accounting profession. George is the current CEO, McMasters is CEO-elect and Dupke is senior consultant for the national firm.
