Chamber Day at the Legislature
Members from chambers throughout the state gather en masse at the Legislature to meet and have lunch with legislators. Meetings are set with legislators and are open to any participants wishing to attend, participants can set up meetings on their own with legislators or attend committee hearings. The main focus of the event centers on the luncheon. In past years 70-80 legislators (out of 90) have been in attendance at the luncheon. The event is held late January or February.

State of the City
An annual luncheon held in conjunction with Greater Tucson Leadership, the Mayor of Tucson uses this January event to deliver the "State of the City" address detailing the goals, planned policies and objectives for Tucson in the coming year. The event generally sells out one week prior to the event!!!

State of the District
Our U.S. congressional District 8 Representative uses this Chamber event to deliver an address to update the progress made by our national leaders in Congress. This event is attended by business, industry and community leaders.

State of the Nation
Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl uses this Chamber event to deliver his address to update the progress made by our national leaders in the Senate. The State of the Nation will be attended by business, industry and community leaders.

State of the State
The Governor uses this Chamber event to deliver the "State of the State" address detailing the issues affecting not only southern Arizona but the entire state. Issues include fiscal and tax policy, education, health and welfare, crime and growth. In an attempt to provide more visibility of the southern Arizona chambers of commerce as well as provide their members an opportunity to develop a stronger bond with the governor's office, the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce invites the Southern Arizona Chamber of Commerce Alliance (SACCA) to co-host the event. This event generally sells out one week prior to the event.
