Time to focus on the issues, not the parties
This year the Arizona State Legislature passed a law that affected only one municipality in the entire State.  TUCSON!  Normally the legislature cannot do this, but in this crazy legislative year, they figured a way to do it. How you ask? Make a law that everyone else already follows, except, of course, the City of Tucson. That’s right; the City of Tucson is the only municipality in the State of Arizona that still had partisan, citywide elections for its Council.  Read more . . .

Chamber leads Southern Arizona at State Conference
Last month the Chamber was the sole Southern Arizona representative at the Arizona Chamber Executives Conference, held in Prescott. Held quarterly, the meeting serves to communicate legislative priorities of the various chambers from throughout Arizona, formulate a communal legislative agenda and to share ideas. Over 20 Chambers of Commerce were represented this year at the two-day conference.  Read more . . .

JTED's Cutting Class!
Kahallyn Cain never dreamed someone would pay for her to attend cosmetology school while she was still in high school so that she could go out and have a real job upon graduation. Now, the Mountain Rose High School senior has big dreams and an ambitious goal.
