State Government Committee

The State Government Committee monitors, reviews and investigates legislation at the state and federal levels that affect business. As an advisory committee  to the TMCC Board of Directors, recommendations are given for the board to adopt as Chamber policy. The committee also composes the yearly legislative agenda for the Board of Directors to approve. The Government Affairs staff is guided by policy put in place by the TMCC Board of Directors.

Healthcare Subcommittee

The Healthcare Subcommittee evaluates methods of providing affordable healthcare coverage for businesses. This subcommittee also monitors legislation that affects the state’s role in establishing methods to insure the uninsurable.
