			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA" /><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">Chamber staff met with Job Path and Pima Community College representatives to finalize plans for a certification and Associates Degree program for Office Administrators and Office Managers.  Based on the ever-increasing demand for qualified office personnel, the Chamber and Job Path have been working with PCC staff to craft a curriculum that, upon completion, will provide graduates with a broad range of skills that are critical for office managers/administrators.  The Chamber is working to unite 8-10 current office managers from various businesses for a day-long focus group at PCC to ensure that the curriculum covers the core competencies necessary for a professional administrator/office manager.  This program will be a perfect fit for JTED graduates that wish to continue their education and become even more proficient in their chosen field of employment.</span>

The trip costs $1,599 per person with double occupancy in a four- or five-star accommodation, and the cost includes round-trip airfare from Los Angeles, meals, tickets to tourist attractions and English-speaking tour guides with deluxe tour buses.<br />
Those interested in the trip are invited to attend an orientation Thursday, May 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Hotel and Suites at 5151 East Grant Road.<br />
