February Member of the Month:  Vantage Bowling Centers
Vantage Bowling Centers has five family fun locations in Tucson, Arizona. All centers are locally owned and operated. The first of these centers, Cactus Bowl, recently celebrated fifty years of meeting the needs of the bowling community. Since that time, four other centers were opened.

The images of the dark and smoke filled "bowling alley" are long gone and have been replaced with bright modern facilities that are smoke free and family friendly. The league bowler is only part of the business as all Vantage Centers offer a wide variety of programs to suit every age group along special events for kids and adults looking to go bowling on an occasional basis.

Bowling is considered a lifetime sport. Once you learn to bowl, that skill will be with you the rest of your life. There are no benchwarmers in bowling. Here, age and skill level does not matter. Everyone gets a chance to compete.

Over the years, many innovations have been added to make the sport of bowling fun for everyone. Bumper bowling for the younger bowler does away with missed pins. The light weight bowling ball stays on the lane until pins are knocked down.

Cyberbowl is a glow in the dark bowling experience. The center is filled with colored light beams, dazzling strobe lights, special effects and fog. Music is played over a state of the art stereo system and several centers offer music videos played on big screens over the lanes.

Vantage Bowling Centers have been referred to as party central. Parties are offered for every occasion you can imagine. Many companies will host corporate parties for their employees for occasions such as employee appreciation, retirements and even their annual holiday celebration.

Schools, churches, clubs, charities and numerous other groups use the centers to help raise money through one of the many fundraising programs offered at the centers.
Birthday parties include everything needed for a good time and will be long remembered by all that attend. Invitations, balloons, party candy, soft drinks and a souvenir bowling pin along with the services of a party hostess make this birthday a very special event.

Back to the fifties is more than a dream when it comes to special evenings at Vantage. Pricing for open bowling, shoe rental, many food and beverage items are priced at only 50c each. A quick call to your neighborhood Vantage Bowling Center will get you the days and times for these special events.

All Vantage Centers offer an after school bowling program. Students are picked up at their school in one of our buses and taken to the center where coaching, bowling, a soft drink and snack are included. Parents pick the kids up at the center on their way home from work. This takes the stress of worrying about the kids being home alone as they are in an adult supervised, after school activity.

Seniors are not forgotten as programs designed with the young at heart take place on a daily basis. Breakfast & Bowl Days are very popular. A delicious breakfast followed by bowling with friends gets the day off to a great start. Many church groups use our facilities for the fun and fellowship bowling provides.

The snack bar has been taken to a whole new level as items are constantly added to ensure we are keeping up with the latest trends. Pizzano's Pizza is a favorite with more than just our bowlers. Each pizza starts with a homemade crust and only fresh ingredients are added. These great pizzas are old by the slice or whole pie with takeout available.
