Leadership for a Stronger Southern Arizona
GTL is a nonpartisan civic leadership development program whose mission is to inspire, promote and develop leadership in the Greater Tucson Region. GTL offers robust classroom and field education experiences for community-minded individuals from business, government, nonprofit and community organizations who seek to expand and enhance their leadership skills and improve our Southern Arizona community. GTL graduates emerge from the program with practical, in-depth understanding of major community issues and impassioned about solving them.
Over a span of ten months, class members participate in one Issue Day per month, as well as an opening retreat and call to action session. Issue Days include topics such as:
- Arts and culture
- Economic Development
